TEMS was one of the projects showcased at the 2025 edition of the “Data & Business Day,” organized in Paris by Cap Digital—a European collective of digital innovators and a member of the TEMS consortium—along with the GF2i (French Information Industry Group) and the Fédération Nationale de la Presse Spécialisée (FNPS) of France.

The event, focused on the conditions for establishing a professional B2B data market, featured feedback on projects addressing data use across various sectors, including transport, geography, law, and administration.

During a roundtable discussion on the status of thematic platforms, the challenges and goals of the TEMS project were presented. The discussion also covered expectations for the pilot project aimed at promoting European fact-checking, led by Agence France-Presse, a member of the consortium.

The event emphasized the importance of a technological framework like TEMS in supporting and highlighting the work of European fact-checking organizations. This comes at a time when the fact-checking sector faces significant challenges, including criticism from Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who announced in January the termination of Meta’s fact-checking partnerships in the United States.
