At the core of Europe’s efforts to transform the media industry, the Trusted European Media Data Space (TEMS) is shaping a secure, data-driven future. HENNEO,  and its affiliated companies hiberus and Alayans are part of the 42 partners driving this project.

HENNEO outlined TEMS’s pivotal role in fostering collaboration and innovation and explored key facets of TEMS: its EU-wide deployment, the network of participants driving its mission, and its alignment with the evolving needs of the media sector. The project is designed to build data-driven value chains that enable media organisations to unlock the full potential of their data while maintaining transparency, security, and trust. These new data value chains will leverage on a shared infrastructure designed by and for Media players. By enabling and facilitating exchanges of data, TEMS will encourage the emergence of exciting new collaborations.

Central to the discussion were four of the eight groundbreaking trials TEMS is conducting . These trials are testing innovative data-sharing models, examining who shares and uses the data, and identifying customer profiles. Each trial is underpinned by advanced technology that is being meticulously configured to ensure scalability and reliability but above all thing, to ensure better exploitation of data. TEMS’s decentralised approach ensures data sovereignty and secure management, empowering organisations to make informed decisions while upholding user trust.

As the first European media data space, TEMS is not just an industry solution—it is a replicable model for sectors yet to establish their own data ecosystems. It embodies the future of cross-industry collaboration, highlighting the transformative potential of data sharing in building competitive and innovative industries.

This vision was shared at the First Gaia-X Spain Data Space Summit in Madrid on 3–4 December. The event brought together 270 participants and 90 speakers, exchanging insights into how data sharing is reshaping economies and societies. In this inspiring context, TEMS showcased its role as a cornerstone of Europe’s media innovation strategy, reaffirming its commitment to leading the way in fair sharing of the value of the data economy in collaborative data ecosystems.
