The webinar brought together legal, technical and organisational experts from the TEMS consortium to clarify what it means to share data confidently and on your own terms. Over the course of the session, speakers unpacked the governance instruments that enable collaboration while preserving full control over how data is accessed, reused and protected.
Three elements structured the discussion. First, the Rulebook, which establishes the shared principles that guide participation in the Trusted European Media Data Space, ensuring transparency, accountability and fairness across all actors. Second, the Policy Library, a practical mechanism that allows organisations to define precise permissions and restrictions, making data‑sharing conditions explicit and enforceable. Third, the contractual and institutional framework that connects these tools, showing how legal, technical and organisational safeguards reinforce one another.
The video offers a clear, concise explanation of how these components work in practice — and why they matter for any organisation preparing to operate in a shared European data environment.
