From 11-13 March, the Data Technology Seminar 2025 (DTS 2025) took place at EBU Geneva, bringing together media professionals to discuss how data and AI are shaping the industry. The event focused on practical applications, such as using large language models (LLMs) for content classification and personalisation, while also addressing security, ethics, and regulations. It also featured real-world examples illustrating how AI and metadata tools can support content analysis, automated tagging, and archive management.

As part of the event, TEMS introduced its prototype user interface, offering a visual demonstration of how the Trusted European Media Data Space works. The demo showed how media organisations can search for and access data and services available in the space.

For three days, we exchanged and gathered valuable information that will help refine future versions of the TEMS specifications. These discussions also confirmed the importance of data-driven collaborative solutions for the media sector.
